Eric Anderson
Eric Anderson, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac. (NCCAOM), received his BA degree in Biology, with an emphasis in ecology, from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. Eric studied acupuncture at The Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Miami, Florida and he has had a flourishing acupuncture practice in Maine since June of 2000. Eric completed his Certification in Zero Balancing in 2006 and he integrates Zero Balancing with his acupuncture practice.
Over the years, as a part of his continuing education, Eric has studied the patterns of disease, location of points, and the various techniques for reestablishing balance in the BodyMindSpirit. He works with both children and adults, and practices acupressure and non-insertive needling techniques for those who would prefer an option to working with the needles.
Eric’s approach to treatment is to hold each patient in their wholeness, working from a place that sees human beings as an integral part of nature made up of complex relationships between their anatomy and physiology and their emotional and spiritual bodies. Eric listens and responds to the chi energy as it is uniquely expressed by each person as it moves through the meridian pathways in order to address imbalance. This allows for healing on many levels. With improved balance in the body’s systems, the quality of your life will be enhanced. Eric is nationally board certified by the NCCAOM.
